ScribeCentral.com welcomes submissions on a variety of topics. If you are interested in sports, television, movies or have some great pictures from a trip or even from your backyard we'd be interested in hearing from you.
Most people don't realise the beauty and wonder of the world that they see every day. What might be common and mundane for someone living in Western Canada might be new and exciting for people living in Guatemala. Some people have never been to a tropical beach while others have never seen snow.
We're not interested in standard travel articles for the tourist; we're interested in stories and experiences of people, whether it be in writing or in a photo essay.
In addition, you might be interested in letting others know about your local sports team or have an opinion on the state of the film-making industry. You may be an artist, photographer, writer, or musician wishing to get your work out to a wider range of people.
The point of ScribeCentral.com is to bring people from around the world together to share their experiences. The goal is to be a Sunday Paper style of web page where one can sit back and relax while reading some interesting articles. We are looking for articles and submissions which fit into the following general categories:
TravelAll submissions to ScribeCentral.com remain the property of the author although we retain the right to keep them on our page indefinitely. Unfortunately, we do not currently have the resources to pay for submissions, but if at such a time we make money from your article, you will be compensated. The terms of this compensation will be discussed at a later time, so it would be in your interest to keep your email address with us up to date. If you have original material for sale, we will also provide contact information on our web site along with your submission and will ask for a small fee for each sale made through ScribeCentral.com.
Written articles should be between 250 and 1000 words although longer submissions, especially in the form of fiction may be acceptable. Shorter articles may also be acceptable if they fall under the category of "Photo-Essays", Artwork, or Music.
The publication of an article does not mean that ScribeCentral supports the opinions expressed therein, or has time to check all the facts expressed in your document. If, however, we do discover that a particular author is consistently unprofessional in their fact-checking and writing style, that authors work will be removed from the site altogether. In addition, all edits that we make to your work will be cleared with you prior to being posted on the site. With each article, a ScribeCentral.com disclaimer will appear at the bottom of the page.
