ScribeCentral.com was conceived to be an interactive site that welcomes contributions from people on a variety of topics. Our philosophy is simple. What is part of one person's daily routine is exotic and interesting for someone from another part of the world. Yesterday's snowstorm in New York is fascinating for someone that has never seen snow, whereas the banana trees growing in farms in Honduras could be of interest to a Canadian that has only ever seen the fruit in the supermarket.
ScribeCentral.com publishes articles on a wide range of topics. Political opinions, movie reviews, book reviews, fishing stories, sports articles, and traveller's tales are all part of the site. In addition to current articles, links can be found to archived articles dating back to the sites beginning in August of 2002.
ScribeCentral.com welcomes unsolicited submissions , but as we are a non-professional site run by volunteers, we cannot afford to pay for your work. However, we will help promote your own work, and everything of yours that we publish remains yours. If you have an album you'd like to promote, a self-published book of poetry, or even a small business we'll be glad to publish your contact information when you contribute.
You don't have to submit an article to contribute the site. Each entry has a "comments" section below it. Clicking the comments section opens a window that allows you to respond to that particular article and keeps the comment posted for future readers to see. In addition, becoming a member of the ScribeCentral Forums hosted at Canadian Fiction.com will allow you to post comments about the site or start your own threads about topics of interest to you.
